Tourism has been, without a doubt, one of the sectors most affected by the coronavirus crisis. The latest estimates suggest that, by the end of the year, tourism companies around the world could lose 5.5 trillion dollars and 197 million jobs . In search of solutions, the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC) has made an urgent appeal to the leaders of the G-7 (plus Spain, Australia and South Korea) to design a common strategy against the crisis.
