Real estate transactions in the Dubai Land Department amounted to more than 5.5 billion dirhams last week.

According to the weekly report on the actions issued by the department yesterday, 631 pledges were recorded at a value of 1.16 billion dirhams, including 102 pledges of land, worth 477.4 million dirhams, and 529 pledges to apartments and villas at a value of 681.78 million dirhams, while mortgages recorded 4.12 billion dirhams, while the donations witnessed the registration of 53 grants valued at 269.16 million dirhams.

The most important land sales, with a value of 51 million dirhams, came in the Nad Al Hammar area, followed by a sale of 28 million dirhams in the first Dubai Investment Park area, and then a sale of 19 million dirhams in the second Jumeirah area.

“Nad Al Sheba Third” topped the regions in terms of the number of pledges, as it recorded 14 pledges at a value of 34 million dirhams, followed by the first Jebel Ali region with 11 pledges worth 44 million dirhams, and a third in the Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Gardens area, with nine sales of 51 million dirhams.

The most important sales of apartments and villas were one at a value of 68 million dirhams in Al Thanyah Fourth area, followed by two sales in the first Jumeirah area, each with a value of 10 million dirhams.

“Al Barsha South Fourth” topped the regions in terms of the number of sales of apartments and villas, with 64 pledges at a value of 37 million dirhams, followed by Dubai Marina with 47 sales of 65 million dirhams, and a third in “Business Bay” with 35 sales of 44 million dirhams.
