The 3 examples of the electric vehicle stopped after 1,018, 1,024 and 1,026 kilometers traveled.

More than 1,000 km but at what cost?

The use of air conditioning and other equipment was not prohibited, but all crews still chose to turn them off, as did the infotainment system. Only the daytime running lights remained on in order to comply with all the rules of the highway code. The test lasted more than 30 hours during which the drivers took turns. Over the 1,000 km traveled, the crews recorded an average speed of between 29 and 31 km / h. This speed may at first glance seem low, but the test was carried out entirely under simulated conditions of typical city traffic, with a "rush hour", bright lights, 30 km / h zones, etc.
