Driven by Ken Miles (to whom the film Le Mans 66 gave the place it deserved in history) and Lloyd Ruby, the Ford GT 40 MKII had won a great victory in front of the Ferraris, which it would once again overcome a few months later at Le Mans.
It is to commemorate this great moment in motorsport that Ford has just launched a Heritage Edition version of its GT, which uses the decoration of this legendary racing car. 20-inch forged wheels in gold color and an Alcantara interior complete the package.
Along with the Heritage Edition, Ford is also launching a “Studio Collection” pack (limited to 40 units) which includes customizable color elements.
