Dhs70 million Dubai trade in medical sterilizers, up 23%

The Dubai Customs Department stated that the value of Dubai's foreign trade in sterilizers and disinfectants recorded a growth of 23% to reach 70 million dirhams during the first half of this year compared with 56.8 million dirhams for the same period last year, and last June witnessed the highest growth in the value of trade Medical sterilizers, by 95% to 18 million dirhams, compared to 9.2 million dirhams registered in June 2019, and the growth in the value of Dubai's foreign trade for medical sterilizers reflects the distinguished efforts and rapid measures taken by the Supreme Committee for Crisis and Disaster Management in Dubai, headed by His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Committee.

The value of total imports reached 32.4 million dirhams for the first half of the current year, compared to 24.4 million dirhams, with a growth of 33%, and the total value of exports recorded 31 million dirhams compared with 25.7 million dirhams and a growth of 20%, while the value of re-exports stabilized at 6.5 million dirhams.
