At the same time, Guangxi's new generation information backbone network construction project also officially started.
Xi Yang, director of the Big Data Development Bureau of the Autonomous Region, introduced that the total investment of the gigabit optical network and the new generation of information backbone network construction project is 1.35 billion yuan, which is a three-year battle for the construction of Guangxi's transportation network, energy network, information network, logistics network and underground pipeline network. The phased landmark project of information infrastructure is also a basic, leading, and strategic communication infrastructure to help the construction of digital Guangxi.
During the "five networks" construction battle from 2020 to 2022, the new generation of information backbone network construction project in Guangxi will complete the construction of 23 backbone transmission optical cables with a total investment of 650 million yuan. It is reported that this project is the first large-scale use of expressway communication pipelines for trunk optical cable networking in Guangxi. It will cover 14 districted cities in Guangxi and counties and townships along the expressway.
