Delivery of some couriers is suspended for one day as the courier industry operates 14 days as a'day without courier' for the holidays of delivery drivers.

According to the logistics and distribution industry on the 13th, the Korea Integrated Logistics Association's Courier Committee, which is a member of nationwide couriers, is closed on Friday, 14th as'Courier Refresh Day'.

Not all couriers are closed because they are required to participate according to company-specific circumstances, not mandatory.

The courier companies that are closed are mainly large courier companies such as CJ Logistics, Lotte Courier, and Hanjin, and their market share is about 80%.

Participating companies' courier operators will not only take a break, but also stop sorting and picking up parcels, operating transport vehicles between courier terminals, and contracting to supply local personnel for loading and unloading.

Delivery will resume from Monday the 17th, but if you consider the quantity that could not be delivered on the 14th, the quantity may be concentrated and delivery may be a little later than usual.

Coupang's rocket delivery, SSG.com's shrug delivery, and Market Curly's morning delivery, which do not use the courier network, are performed as usual.

However, some of these services are only applicable to some areas such as Seoul and the metropolitan area.

The courier service between convenience store stores operates normally on the 14th, but you should consider that it takes at least 2 days to send.
