Sharjah Coop donates one and a half million dirhams to support the "Peace to Beirut" campaign

The Sharjah Cooperative announced the donation of one and a half million dirhams in cash in support of the "Peace to Beirut" campaign launched by the Big Heart Foundation, in implementation of the directives of the wife of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Chairperson The Big Heart Foundation.

The CEO of the Sharjah Cooperative, Majid Salem Al-Junaid, said in statements via the Direct Line program from Sharjah Radio, that the cooperative is proud to participate in the "Peace to Beirut" campaign, which is a moral duty for all institutions, "stressing the commitment and continuing to support the campaign, and provide humanitarian aid to all Who needs it.

The Peace for Beirut campaign, which is supervised by the Big Heart Foundation, aims to provide housing, food and treatment in coordination with emergency committees and the competent local authorities. It also includes participating in removing rubble, assessing damage to buildings and properties, determining the requirements for restoration, in addition to providing solutions to lighting, sanitation and public safety challenges.
