The airline is expanding its network to 24 destinations

Flydubai resumes flights to Almaty, Dhaka, Djibouti, Kuwait and Nur-Sultan

Flydubai today announced the resumption of its flights to Almaty and Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan, effective August 18. Earlier this week, the airline had also resumed its flights to Dhaka, Djibouti and Kuwait, bringing the total number of operational destinations on its network to 24.

Starting from 18 August, flydubai's flight FZ 1735 will operate to Almaty International Airport (ALA) twice a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays. Flydubai Flight FZ 1705 will operate from 19 August bound for Nur-Sultan Nazarbayev International Airport, twice a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The flights to Almaty and Nur-Sultan will be operated from Terminal 2 at Dubai International Airport.

Passengers can now book through flydubai.com and authorized flydubai travel agents. The company will continue to add more destinations and prepare flights to the flydubai schedule during the summer, according to government approvals.

The flydubai passenger flight has been redesigned with a new concept to enable travel in a safe environment that reduces contact with crew and passengers. Each passenger will receive a free meal on board. During the flight, cabin air is changed every two to three minutes and is sterile when it enters the cabin after going through high-efficiency air filters (HEPA). Flydubai aircraft are sanitized every day with manufacturer approved cleaning products. Flydubai will provide sufficient flexibility to change the travel date, or rebook a flight or another destination free of charge for travelers. Any price differences may apply and tickets are subject to flydubai terms and conditions.

Flydubai has operated 831 repatriation flights since March, allowing more than 100,000 passengers to return home in 40 countries. Flydubai continues to support the government's efforts to operate flights back home, and more than 240 repatriation flights are planned for the coming weeks.
