Skoda Enyaq iV - DR

As a teasing guide, Skoda has just published two photos and a video of the Enyaq, the brand's first electric SUV, based on the Volkswagen Group's universal MEB platform. Even if these are only digital sketches, we perceive that the Czech dares a sporty and racy look, which fits perfectly into the new stylistic language of the brand.

“To save space, the batteries of the MEB platform are installed in the floor of the vehicle, which slightly enhances the body. However, the longer wheelbase visually compensates for this, ”says Karl Neuhold, Head of Design at Skoda. “The various components of the electric drive take up less space than a conventional internal combustion engine, which makes it possible to narrow the front and rear overhangs. The body of the Enyaq iV is also more stretched and extremely aerodynamic, which favors autonomy. A coefficient of drag (Cx) of 0.27 is remarkable for an SUV of this size ”.

The Skoda Enyaq will be available in rear-wheel drive and 4-wheel drive version, with 5 power and battery levels.
