It monitored 31 provinces and 5 separate cities, including 636 vegetable fruit tea production bases and 435 vehicles in 151 prefecture-level cities. Vegetable and fruit trucks, 213 slaughterhouses, 253 farms, 657 (a) aquatic product trucks (temporary ponds), 1252 agricultural product wholesale (farmers) markets and supermarkets. The monitoring results showed that the qualified rate of random inspection of vegetables, fruits, tea, livestock and poultry products and aquatic products were 97.4%, 92.6%, 97.9%, 98.5% and 94.8% respectively.

  In terms of the monitored varieties, among the vegetables sampled, all the root vegetables were qualified. The qualified rate of the edible fungi, melons and cabbage was higher, which were 99.6%, 99.5%, and 99.4% respectively. Among the livestock and poultry products sampled, all pig livers were qualified, and the sample qualification rates of pork, beef, mutton, poultry and eggs were 99.9%, 99.3%, 98.9%, 98.3% and 96.1% respectively. Among the bulk cultured aquatic products sampled, silver carp and catfish were all qualified, while bighead carp and tilapia had relatively high qualification rates, 99.3% and 98.1% respectively.
