[Explanation] On July 31, the first domestic suction tube jacket fan foundation built by China Shipbuilding Corporation Guangzhou Shipyard International Co., Ltd. was successfully shipped in Nansha, Guangzhou.

[Explanation] According to reports, the suction tube jacket has a total height of 63 meters and a total weight of about 1,560 tons. It consists of three suction tubes with a diameter of about 13 meters and a height of about 11 meters and an upper jacket with a height of 52 meters.

The most difficult part of the whole construction is high, and the precision control is difficult, because its overall accuracy requirements are very high. Basically, it is necessary to ensure the balance of the three legs, including the center of gravity, and the error is about two millimeters.

[Explanation] The reporter learned that the suction tube is the core part of the fan foundation. The suction tube technology has the characteristics of convenient construction and installation, no noise, reusability, and convenient dismantling. It is often used in the field of marine engineering, but it is the first time that it has been applied to offshore wind power projects in China.

The suction tube is the core part of the fan foundation. The principle is like "cupping" on the seabed. When submerging operations on the seabed, you only need to pump out the seawater in the tube to form a negative pressure in the tube. You can sit firmly on the bottom of the sea without using external force. In other words, a foundation construction operation can be completed without the aid of piling equipment.

[Explanation] The application of this technology reduces the reliance on large-scale offshore equipment, greatly saves costs such as rock-socketed piling, and reduces offshore construction risks. At the same time, the application of this equipment will effectively reduce the pollution of the marine environment from the construction of offshore wind power projects.

[Explanation] It is reported that after the delivery of the foundation of the suction tube jacket fan, it will be used in the 300 MW offshore wind power project in Shapa Bay, Yangxi County, Yangjiang City, Guangdong Province, developed by China Three Gorges New Energy (Group) Co., Ltd., to help Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao University The construction of the Bay Area provides energy support for the economic development of Guangdong Province.
