Tobacco price increase by 50 yen per box If application is accepted, October 1st to July 31st 18:50

Along with the tobacco tax increase in October, JT = Japan Tobacco Industry has decided to raise the price of major brands by around JPY50 per box.

JT applied to the Ministry of Finance on 31st to raise the price of 224 brands such as cigarettes and heated cigarettes from October 1 in line with the increase in tobacco tax.

The main brands are price increases of about 50 yen per box

In the case of heated cigarettes,

If the application is approved, we will increase the price from October 1.

In addition to this, "British American Tobacco Japan" has applied to the Ministry of Finance to raise the price of 69 issues including "Kent", "Cool" and "Lucky Strike" from 30 yen to 60 yen from October 1st doing.
