Final deficit of major airline ANA ¥108.8 billion Impact of corona due to self-restraint July 29, 15:10

ANA Holdings Co., Ltd., a major airline company, recorded a deficit of 108.8 billion yen in the final profit and loss for the three months ended June.

With a final deficit of 58.7 billion yen, the deficit greatly exceeded the financial results from January to March, making it the largest ever quarterly financial result.

This is because the number of passengers on both international and domestic flights has dropped significantly due to the entry restrictions of countries around the world affected by the spread of the new coronavirus and the refraining from moving within Japan.

Regarding the business forecast for the year ending March next year, the company has not yet decided that the impact of the new coronavirus on management is uncertain.
