The Tokyo foreign exchange market on the 27th after the consecutive holidays, the yen exchange rate rose to the mid-105 yen level of 1 dollar.

The yen exchange rate at 5 pm was 105.56-58 yen, which was 1.35 yen weaker than the previous Wednesday before the consecutive holidays.

As for the daytime trading hours of the Tokyo market, the yen has risen for the first time in about four months since mid-March this year.

Against the euro, 1 euro = 123.45-49 yen, which was 31 yen weaker than the previous holidays.

The euro was 1.1 euro = $1.1695-$96 against the dollar.

Market officials said, “The US and China closed their respective consulates, raising concerns about intensifying conflicts between the United States and China, and the uncertainties about the future of the US economy were prominent in selling dollars. We are wary that the deterioration of Chinese relations will not spread to the trade side."
