According to data released by the Civil Aviation Administration, on July 23, the number of civil aviation flights hit a new high since the epidemic. The actual number of flights was 13,059, which recovered to about 80% before the epidemic; passenger traffic reached 1,272,800, a recovery of nearly 70% year-on-year, with a passenger load factor of 73.57. %. From July 1 to July 23, a total of 267,400 flights of various types were guaranteed, with an average daily flight of 11,628, an average daily increase of 6.77%; passenger traffic totaled 26.427 million, a recovery of more than 60% year-on-year.
Beijing to Zhuhai, Xiamen and other routes

A reporter from Beijing Youth Daily found that when booking a flight from Beijing to Sanya on August 10, the economy class ticket was 20% off at 650 yuan; the economy class ticket from Beijing to Zhuhai was 1.6% off 308 yuan; the Beijing to Xiamen economy class ticket was priced at 390 yuan off 1.7% off. ; From Beijing to Xi’an, there is still a 1.6% discount on economy class airfare at 349 yuan, which is half or more cheaper than the same period in previous years.

According to the forecast report released by Qunar.com, 70% of people after 95 buy tickets one day in advance, and in the summer vacation they will have a walk-and-go trip.
This year’s summer ticket bookings accounted for nearly 50% of air tickets under the age of 30. Among them, those born in the age of 18-25 accounted for 19.68%, and those born in the age of 25-30 accounted for 18.86%, making them the highest age group. In hotel bookings, 18-25 year-olds accounted for 27%, an increase of nearly 20% compared to the same period last year.
According to relevant big data analysis, this summer, trip orders of more than 3 people accounted for 31%, graduation trips accounted for 17%, and couples trips accounted for 11%. Women support most of the summer travel this year, not only accounted for more than 60%, but even the number of tourists from sister groups was 3% higher than that of brother groups.
Among all summer outings, users who took the flight for the first time accounted for 15%, becoming the year with the largest number of new users in the first period in recent years. Among them, users born after 95 who took the flight for the first time accounted for 21%.
Data shows that first-tier cities such as Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Hangzhou have become the main destinations for these new “flyers”. From campus to work, many post-95s’ first steps into society start with a ticket. These post-95s who have just entered work are becoming the most dynamic new force in the travel market.

Unlike the first-tier and new first-tier cities that are all in the air ticket order, tourist cities have become popular in this summer hotel booking. Sanya, Shanghai, and Chengdu have become the three cities with the highest booking volume of Gaoxing hotels, and tourist cities such as Changsha, Qingdao, Suzhou, Nanning, and Ningbo have entered the top 20.
In terms of price, among the Gaoxing hotels, Sanya became the most expensive city in the country during the summer with 1,693.34 yuan per night, an increase of 59% compared to the summer price in 2019, and the price is nearly 700 yuan higher than the average price of Shanghai Gaoxing hotels. Nevertheless, Sanya became the city with the largest number of bookings in the Gaoxing hotel bookings this summer. Parent-child and family outings represented by the generation born in the 1980s have become the most important tourist group during the summer vacation in Sanya.

With the normalization of epidemic prevention and control, many tourists have turned their attention back to China. Since the Hainan Free Trade Port construction policy was released, Sanya has become a tourist hotspot. Everyone swarmed Sanya with their enthusiasm for traveling and the money they had saved for half a year.
Sanya has become the "new favorite" this summer. Gou Zhipeng, president of Qunar.com, believes that as of June, there are still 140 million people in China who have taken a plane last year and have not traveled this year. Most of these people will pay more attention to the "first" outing this year.
Taking Haitang Bay Hotel as an example, the reservation of the superior room was earlier than the ordinary room, and the number of bookings on the 18th and 19th exceeded the same period last year. "Domestic tourism will develop towards high-end, customized, and private this year." Gou Zhipeng said.
In terms of travel time, nearly half of tourists stayed in Sanya from 3 to 4 days in previous years to 5 days or more. "Two big and one small" and "two big and two small" have become the most common tourist configuration in Sanya.
