  In addition, revenue from fixed communications services grew steadily, and revenue from mobile communications continued to narrow.   Data and Internet business revenues grew steadily, supporting steady growth in telecom business revenues. In the first half of the year, the three basic telecommunications companies completed fixed and mobile data and Internet business revenues of 115.7 billion yuan and 318.5 billion yuan, an increase of 7.6% and 3.2% year-on-year, accounting for 16.7% and 46% of telecommunications business revenue, respectively. The increase of 0.7 percentage points and 0.1 percentage points will drive the growth of telecommunications business revenue by 1.2 percentage points and 1.5 percentage points, which is the main pillar of the steady growth of telecommunications business revenue.

  The accelerated growth of fixed value-added and other income is the first driving force for the growth of telecom business income. The three basic telecommunications companies are actively developing emerging services such as IPTV, Internet data centers, big data, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence. In the first half of the year, they completed a total of 90.3 billion yuan in fixed value-added services, a year-on-year increase of 23.5%, and a growth rate of 4.6 percentage points higher than the first quarter. , Accounting for 13% of telecom business revenue, which was an increase of 1.7 percentage points compared with the same period last year, driving a 2.6 percentage point increase in telecom business revenue.

  In terms of the development of telecommunications users, the scale of mobile phone users remained stable, and the proportion of 4G users continued to increase. As of the end of June, the total number of mobile phone users of the three basic telecommunications companies reached 1.595 billion, a year-on-year increase of 0.6%. Among them, the number of 4G users was 1.283 billion, a year-on-year increase of 4.2%, accounting for 80.4% of the total number of mobile phone users, an increase of 0.2% compared to the first quarter.

  Fixed broadband access users are migrating to high speeds, and the proportion of 100M access users has gradually increased. As of the end of June, the total number of fixed Internet broadband access users of the three basic telecommunications companies reached 465 million, a year-on-year increase of 7% and a net increase of 15.73 million from the end of the previous year. Among them, there are 434 million FTTH/O users, accounting for 93.2% of the total number of fixed Internet broadband users.   Cellular Internet of Things users have grown rapidly, and the penetration rate of mobile Internet users to mobile phone users has steadily increased. As of the end of June, the three basic telecommunications companies had developed 1.106 billion cellular Internet of Things terminal users, a year-on-year increase of 32.7% and a net increase of 78.12 million from the end of the previous year.   In terms of usage of telecommunications services, mobile Internet traffic maintained rapid growth, and the DOU value continued to increase in June. In the first half of the year, the cumulative mobile Internet traffic reached 74.5 billion GB, a year-on-year increase of 34.5%; among them, mobile Internet traffic reached 72 billion GB, a year-on-year increase of 30.4%, accounting for 96.6% of the total mobile Internet traffic. In June, the average mobile Internet access traffic (DOU) per household reached 10.14GB/household, a year-on-year increase of 29.3%, which was 1.55GB/household higher than in December of the previous year.

  The decline in mobile phone call volume has gradually narrowed, and mobile SMS business volume has continued to be out of sync. In the first half of the year, mobile phone outgoing calls completed 1,074 billion minutes, a year-on-year decrease of 10.3%, and the rate of decline narrowed by 6.6 percentage points from the first quarter; fixed-line callers completed 49.8 billion minutes of call time, a year-on-year decrease of 18.9%, a decrease from the first quarter Narrow by 8.5 percentage points.   In terms of communication capabilities, the construction of broadband networks has accelerated, and the proportion of optical fiber ports has continued to increase. As of the end of June, the number of Internet broadband access ports nationwide reached 931 million, a year-on-year increase of 3.1% and a net increase of 15.66 million from the end of the previous year. Among them, fiber access (FTTH/O) ports reached 858 million, a net increase of 21.51 million over the end of the previous year, and their proportion increased from 91.3% at the end of the previous year to 92.1%. At the same time, the total number of various digital subscriber line (xDSL) ports fell to 7.33 million, a net decrease of 870,000 from the end of the previous year.

  The number of mobile phone base stations has grown rapidly. As of the end of June, the total number of mobile phone base stations reached 8.77 million, a year-on-year increase of 19.8% and a net increase of 359,000 from the end of the previous year. Among them, the total number of 4G base stations is 5.6 million, accounting for 63.9%.

  The total length of optical cable lines has steadily increased. As of the end of June, the total length of optical cable lines nationwide reached 48.9 million kilometers, an increase of 7.6% year-on-year, and the growth rate was 0.3 percentage points higher than the first quarter. Among them, access network optical cables, local network relay optical cables and long-distance optical cable lines accounted for 61.5%, 36.2% and 2.3% respectively.

  In terms of regional development, the growth rate of mobile Internet access traffic in the western region is leading. In the first half of the year, the mobile Internet access traffic in the eastern, central, western and northeastern regions reached 31.3 billion, 16.3 billion, 22.7 billion and 4.2 billion GB respectively, representing a year-on-year increase of 29.5%, 36.5%, 41.8% and 28.4%. The growth rate of the western region was leading Nationwide. Among them, the average mobile Internet access traffic (DOU) per household in June in 16 provinces across the country was higher than the average level. Tibet, Yunnan, and Guizhou ranked the top three in DOU, reaching 15.95GB/household, 15.06GB/household, and 14.81.   The penetration rate of 100M and above fixed broadband access users in Northeast China is leading. As of the end of June, fixed broadband access users of 100Mbps and above in the East, Central, West and Northeast regions reached 176.83 million, 98.21 million, 103.64 million and 24.93 million, respectively, accounting for 86.8 of the total number of fixed Internet broadband users in the region. %, 86.7%, 86.3% and 89.2%.
