Skoda Slavia Concept - DR

As is the case with a few (too rare) manufacturers, Skoda launched an academy many years ago teaching young people from the age of 16 the automotive professions in the broad sense. Mechanics, bodywork, design, logistics, commercial strategy, nothing is missing. Each year, students from different "sectors" come together to create a concept car from A to Z on the basis of a model from the range. Here is what the promo '2020 offers.

This time 31 students, including 5 girls, who imagined a spider. The young designers named their creation “Slavia”, in homage to the first bikes built by the founders Laurin and Klement in 1895, so just 125 years ago.

Sports bodies

The basis used is that of a Skoda Scala, with under the hood, the 1.5 TSI petrol 150 hp mated to the DSG automatic transmission. But other elements, such as the brakes or the rims, were taken from the Octavia RS and Kodiaq RS, marking the sporty character of this roofless concept car.
