The number of flights operated by Emirates Air Cargo Company during the period between April and June 2020 exceeded 10,000 regular and charter charter flights to destinations across the six continents of the world, as it contributed in facilitating the transportation of basic products and other supplies to individuals and companies around the world.

“Emirates Air Cargo has adapted its operations and services during the past few months in line with the requirements of the ever-changing market,” said Nabil Sultan, Senior Vice President of the Emirates Airlines’s cargo division.

He added: «As a global carrier that facilitates trade and supports global economies and always gives priority to the customer, we have expanded our network to reach 100 destinations covering the main production and consumption markets, while we will continue to provide our services and freight transportation around the world, as our achievement of operating 10,000 trips within three months is a good indication of The extent of our customers' satisfaction and confidence in our innovative services and products. ”

The «Emirates Air Cargo», operated during the past May and June, an average of about 3,800 flights to 100 destinations per month, and its planes traveled about 37 million km, equivalent to 50 round trips between Earth and the moon.

The number of destinations served by "Emirates Air Cargo" during this July reached 100 destinations in the six continents of the world, up from 35 destinations at the end of March 2020.

The carrier continues to support the economies of countries and global trade with the return of the industrial movement and economic activities, and the transportation of necessary medical supplies, foodstuffs and raw materials from production centers to final destinations.
