process is not straightforward if parents are late and ask for a refund that their minor child has paid a small amount of money for a mobile phone game. There are not one or two documents to be paid to confirm that the parents did not agree to the payment.

Ms. Park, an office worker in her 40s, was surprised to see that her credit card payment was recently paid for nearly 3 million won in the name of the Google Play store.

I suspected hacking, but it turned out that Park's 11-year-old son did it.

With his son's game ID, Nexon's mobile game'Kartrider' paid 54.28 million won for a month.

[Mr. Park: 109,000 won, 55,000 won this way now. While payments have been made for dozens of times, isn't this a nonsense to anyone?]

Park asked for a refund.

Nexon explained, "If a minor payment is made without the consent of the legal representative, we will proceed with a simple verification and cancel the payment."

However, in reality, we requested all kinds of documents, such as a request for cancellation, a card history, a family relationship certificate, and a child's mobile phone subscription certificate.

[Mr. Park: (Payment) It's very easy. Since I'm trying to cancel, I made it very difficult to inquire, and made refunds very difficult. Does this make sense? I think most people give up (request for refund).]

In June of last year, the Fair Trade Commission decided to delete provisions that caused parents to take full responsibility if they agreed to join their children.

But it's up to parents to prove that they still didn't agree to the payment.

[Jongho Park / Korea Consumer Agency Public Relations Division. If the credit card of the parents has been registered in advance, even if provided with a single parent verification of every thing seems to be improving a lot of consumer harm]

experts of parents in their children's mobile phone with credit card I advised not to register any information at all to prevent damage.
