It will be… Stellantis. This is the new name of the entity born from the merger between PSA and FCA. “Stellantis”, which reminds us more of a pharmaceutical giant name or of a science fiction film than of the automobile, it seems it comes from the Latin verb “stello” which means “to shine with stars”. A whole program… The objective of this new automotive group is to "provide sustainable mobility solutions for the decades to come" while preserving "the exceptional value" of each brand that makes it up.
Completion in 2021
The next step in the process will be the unveiling of a logo which, along with the name, will become the brand's brand identity. Of course, the logos of the car manufacturers that make up this new Group, whose objective is to get closer to the World Top 3, will remain unchanged.
Note also that the finalization of the merger project should take place in the first quarter of 2021, subject to the approval of the shareholders of PSA and FCA.
