In terms of different industries, the electricity consumption of secondary production started to pick up significantly in the second quarter, with a year-on-year increase of 1.3%, 2.9%, and 4.3% in April, May, and June, respectively, an increase of 10.2, 11.7, and 13.2 percentage points over the first quarter. Contributions to the growth of electricity consumption in the month reached 135%, 45%, and 51%, respectively, and became the main force driving the growth of electricity consumption. The trend of refined oil consumption is gradually improving, with a year-on-year decrease of about 18.7% in the first quarter. From the production side, coal production has grown steadily. In the second quarter, coal production continued its good momentum since late March, with daily output remaining at around 10 million tons. In the first half of the year, coal output was 1.81 billion tons, a slight increase of 0.6% year-on-year. Oil and gas production continued to grow. Power supply is safe and stable. The utilization rates of wind power and photovoltaic power generation reached 96.1% and 97.9% respectively, up 0.8 and 0.3 percentage points year-on-year.
