[Commentary] On the afternoon of July 14th, the first subway train developed by CRRC Zhuzhou Electric Locomotive Co., Ltd. for Istanbul’s new airport line in Turkey successfully rolled off the line, marking China’s first export speed of 120 km/h. The self-driving large axle-loaded vehicles will serve the new "Asia-Europe Continental Bridge" airport.

  The train is composed of 4 sections and has a speed of 120 kilometers per hour. The first 10 trains use the automatic driving mode of GOA2, which will be transformed into the unmanned driving mode of GOA4. The last 34 trains directly use GOA4's driverless mode and achieve a localization rate of 60%.

At the same time, the project team organized many expert meetings to solve practical problems, urged the progress of the project in the form of "working daily", and held several online video conferences with the owner. In the end, the project set a world record for the completion of the new subway train in six months.

The design freeze was completed on June 1, the trial production of the first train was completed on June 14, and the factory commissioning was completed on July 11.
