The Emirates Entrepreneur Association is organizing a virtual seminar tomorrow, under the title "Governmental Purchases and Entrepreneurs - Opportunities and Challenges".

The symposium discusses the role of the "government procurement department" in the Ministry of Finance in enabling Emirati entrepreneurs to overcome the repercussions of the "Corona crisis" (during and after the crisis), and the importance of activating a special platform for government procurement to support entrepreneurs and owners of small and medium enterprises.

The symposium will also review the national and social role of Emirati business leaders and their contributions in supporting the gross domestic product and providing job opportunities for the citizens of the UAE through recycling the business growth system to reflect on the national economy.

The symposium touched on discussions about the possibility of giving small and medium companies a fair proportion of government tenders, in light of Emirati business leaders being affected by unequal competition at times, as well as the importance of government procurement cooperation in providing deals and contracts for Emirati business leaders and finding appropriate solutions, and the importance of applying governance to small business departments And medium to ensure upgrading work quality and sustainability.

A large number of senior speakers will participate in the symposium, where the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the "Emirates Entrepreneur Association", Sanad Al-Maqbali, will address many of the challenges facing Emirati entrepreneurs, against the backdrop of the effects of the Corona Virus outbreak and beyond.

Speaking at the symposium are the Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance for the Ministry of Finance, Maryam Muhammad Al-Amiri, Director of the National Program for Small and Medium Enterprises at the Ministry of Economy, Engineer Azza Suleiman, and the Executive Director of the Government Procurement Office at the “Government Support Department” in Abu Dhabi, Tris Ahmed Al-Ketbi.
