China News Service, July 9th, according to the National Bureau of Statistics website, in June 2019, the national factory producer prices were flat year-on-year, down 0.3% month-on-month; the purchase prices of industrial producers fell 0.3% year-on-year and 0.1% month-on-month. In the first half of the year, the ex-factory prices of industrial producers rose by 0.3% over the same period last year, and the purchase prices of industrial producers rose by 0.1%.

  Year-on-year changes in industrial producer prices

  Among the producer prices of industrial producers, the prices of means of production fell by 0.3% year-on-year, which affected the overall level of producer prices of industrial producers to fall by about 0.22 percentage points. Among them, the prices of extractive industries rose by 4.5%, the prices of raw materials industries fell by 2.1%, and the prices of processing industries remained flat. The price of living materials rose by 0.9% year-on-year, the same rate as last month, which affected the overall level of industrial producers’ ex-factory prices to rise by about 0.23 percentage points. Among them, food prices rose 2.2%, clothing prices rose 1.6%, general commodity prices rose 0.5%, and durable consumer goods prices fell 0.9%.

  In the purchase prices of industrial producers, the prices of ferrous metal materials, construction materials and non-metallic materials all increased by 4.3% year-on-year, the prices of agricultural and sideline products increased by 1.9%; the prices of chemical raw materials decreased by 4.7%, and the prices of non-ferrous metal materials and wires fell 3.5%, the price of fuel and power fell by 0.2%.

  Monetary price changes of industrial producers

  Among the producer prices of industrial producers, the prices of means of production fell by 0.4% month-on-month, which affected the overall level of producer prices of industrial producers to fall by about 0.31 percentage points. Among them, the prices of extractive industries fell by 0.1%, the prices of raw materials industries fell by 1.0%, and the prices of processing industries fell by 0.2%. The price of living materials remained flat compared to the previous month. Among them, the prices of food, clothing and durable consumer goods were all flat, and the prices of general daily necessities rose by 0.1%.

  In the purchase price of industrial producers, the price of ferrous metal materials increased by 0.7% month-on-month, the price of agricultural and sideline products increased by 0.5%; the price of chemical raw materials decreased by 1.2%, the price of non-ferrous metal materials and wires decreased by 0.5%, and the price of fuel power decreased 0.4%.
