According to news from the website of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on July 8, the Information and Communications Administration of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology held a video-phone conference on the "Portable Number Transfer" service supervision in Beijing on the 7th. The meeting pointed out that the current national “number porting” service is generally stable, and the number of users who have applied for services has risen rapidly. The number porting service has been provided for 9.4 million passengers. On July 2, the nationwide "number-carrying" network service supervision system has been officially launched, providing strong technical support for proactively discovering violations.
At the meeting, the Ministry of Information and Communication Administration notified the main problems of the recent "number portability" service.
The meeting emphasized that there is still a certain gap between the user's expectation, the implementation of the service and the capacity building of the "number portability" service at this stage. In order to further strengthen the supervision of the "number porting" service, effectively safeguard the interests of the masses, and improve the user's service perception, all relevant units should compact their responsibilities and thoroughly investigate the "number porting" service issues. First, we must improve the political position and strengthen the responsibility; second, we must adhere to the problem-oriented and carry out special rectification; third, we must focus on the part-time work of specimens and strengthen capacity building.
