Audi had already shown the Q4 e-tron concept in 2019, at the Geneva Motor Show. So here is its inevitable coupe version today, whose sporty silhouette is underlined by a fin that seems to come straight out of the rear window.
Augmented reality
On board, the large head-up display with augmented reality is unique. This function allows you to display important graphic information directly, over the route, for example the directional arrows of the navigation. The central console should not house functional controls such as a gear lever or the parking brake, it was designed as a large storage space with integrated support to charge (wireless) the mobile phone.
Up to 500 km
The technique is identical for the SUV and Sportback versions. The two electric motors - one for the front axle, the other for the rear axle - together develop 225 kW (306 hp). The 510 kg of batteries, with a capacity of 82 kWh, offer a range of 450 km, but this could exceed 500 km depending on the version. In fact, the Sportback version is more aerodynamic than the SUV, which somewhat reduces power consumption. Most of the time, the Q4 Sportback e-tron concept also mainly uses its rear electric motor, this to guarantee maximum efficiency. Top speed is limited to 180 km / h. In fast charge, 30 minutes will be enough to recover 80% of autonomy.
The marketing is announced for March 2021, at a basic price below 40,000 € in Germany. The Q4 e-tron will arrive first, followed a few weeks later by the Sportback coupe version.
