The sales, which start on July 15, will only last 4 weeks this year. - Daina Le Lardic

Delayed due to the coronavirus crisis, the summer sales will take place this year. As a result of the Pacte law, they will only last 4 weeks, compared to 6 in previous years, from July 15 to August 11. Some trade federations had even campaigned for outright cancellation this year.

If a tendency to moderation appeared during confinement, a study carried out by the Yougov cabinet indicates that 62% of French people consider it important to consume during sales to boost the economy. This same study specifies that it is the clothing sector which will be privileged.

Undermined by the multiple promotions available on the Internet throughout the year, the period also has its detractors, since 16% of people questioned by Yougov believe that they should simply be deleted.

And you what do you think ? You wouldn't miss the sales for anything in the world, especially this summer? Your budget is already established? Do you have purchasing projects, or do you want to support French traders? On the contrary, you no longer see the interest of the sales? You refuse to take advantage of it for a question of budget, or because it pushes you according to overconsumption? tell us
