This survey was conducted by Enedis, a subsidiary of EDF, with 800 users of electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles. It turns out that these vehicles are in most cases the main mode of transport in the home, and that they travel a greater average distance each day than that of "normal" cars: 43 km against 29 km.
Used mainly for daily commuting, these electrified vehicles have an autonomy almost always greater than 250 km. This autonomy is considered "sufficient" by all of the respondents who, for 64% of them, only recharge their car twice a week.
