His Highness said that the issuance of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to Law No. (4) for the year 2020 regarding the regulation of drone activities in the Emirate of Dubai, represents a new certificate that would establish Dubai’s position in the aviation sector And confirms its serious ambitions to take a leading position in this industry, as well as it is an important strategic step to enhance the emirate's influence within the global smart aviation sector.
His Highness praised the future vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum in promoting these vital sectors in the emirate, including the aviation sector.

It is mentioned that the new law, which is comprehensive, provides a suitable legal framework for the use of unmanned aircraft for commercial and governmental activities in Dubai, and paves the way to attract companies and expertise specialized in this type of aircraft to Dubai, and contributes to making significant progress in a number of areas, including This includes transporting goods and passengers, designing and manufacturing, developing devices, providing delivery services, establishing educational facilities, providing training activities related to these aircraft, and supporting the fields of research and development.
