From our correspondent in Tehran, Siavosh Ghazi

The government was forced to impose the mandatory wearing of masks in public places to control the epidemic. Restrictive measures have also been imposed in some provinces where the situation has become alarming in recent days.

For Maryam, a student in her thirties, this decision is positive even if it is late: “  The government should have done this instead. From the end of confinement, he should have imposed the compulsory wearing of a mask in closed places as in many countries. People were tired of the restrictions. This is why the epidemic has started to rise again.  "

Ghazaleh, a young woman in her thirties, believes that the government should distribute masks for free: "  I think it will be very good to distribute masks for free, including distributing free masks in the metro and bus stations.  "

In any case, to set an example, the Iranian supreme guide and President Hassan Rohani for the first time wore the mask in public. A way of signaling to the population that the situation is serious.
