[Commentary] Tara Beach, located in Gonghe County, Hainan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, used to be a desert Gobi. However, the flat terrain and sufficient light make it sufficient for the development of the photovoltaic industry. The construction of the photovoltaic park started in 2013, and now it has become the world's largest photovoltaic park, gathering 43 photovoltaic companies. The average annual power generation exceeds 6 billion kWh. The old Gobi Desert has also become a "green electricity + green grass".

[Explanation] In 2013, the State Power Investment Corporation Yellow River Upper Hydropower Development Co., Ltd. started construction and operation in the park, and the scale has now grown to the park's largest. It accounts for more than 60% of the installed capacity of the entire photovoltaic industrial park. Huan Xingsheng was among the first group of employees who came here. According to him, the grass in the whole park was clustered, and the sand was particularly large.

That year, when we first built it, it started to build from summer to October and November.

[Commentary] Huan Xingsheng said that due to the large wind and sand, the industrial park should clean the photovoltaic panels almost every month, and the water after washing the photovoltaic panels just nourished the grass, and the grass beach slowly became a piece to reduce soil erosion. Therefore, a small green ecological park was formed.

When I first came there was no grass, it was a kind of barren beach, there are clusters of clusters, and now the grass beach is connected into a piece, and then we have to cut the grass every autumn, because the purpose of raising sheep is to be able to Eat these grasses, in order to reduce the shielding of these grasses to the battery components in summer. Reduce the time in winter, because if the grass is dry in winter, there will be a fire hazard, which can be reduced after the sheep eat it.

[Explanation] Now that Tala Beach is green, "PV sheep" is running under the photovoltaic panels. State Power Investment Corporation's Yellow River Upper Hydropower Development Co., Ltd. also relies on the Longyangxia Hydropower Station on the upper Yellow River to build the world's largest hydro-solar photovoltaic The power station solves the intermittent, volatile and random problems of photovoltaic power generation, and green clean energy can be continuously transmitted from the park to the outside.

[Commentary] This year, the ±800 kV UHV DC project from Qinghai to Henan will be commissioned live. This is China's first UHV channel built specifically for clean energy delivery. The starting point is from the park.
