Jobseekers and jobseekers will soon be able to follow a free development process with a career advisor. The intention is that this will give them an insight into their opportunities on the labor market, the Ministry of Social Affairs reports Thursday.
The coaches will help job seekers find jobs and apply. People who already have a job are being tracked down to the right additional training or retraining.
Minister Koolmees considers it important that people regularly think about the future of their work. "This has always been the case, but this may apply even more in this crisis."
The money for the scheme, 50 million euros, comes from the second emergency package for jobs and the economy. The courses begin in August and the ministry expects some 20,000 people to participate.
