You had already discovered it a few days ago, so we are not going to come back to the unrecognizable look with the air of SUV of the Citroën C4 new generation, but rather on its engines and its strong points.
A World Premiere tip
Unsurprisingly, as a good Citroën, the C4 highlights its comfort. In addition to the suspensions with progressive hydraulic stops (standard as of the “core range” versions) and heated and massaging seats, it puts on a feeling of space and volume on board.
The storage seems numerous (16 in number for a total volume of 39 liters) and the trunk can carry up to 380 liters bench seat in place. As a World Premiere, the front passenger even benefits from a unique touch pad support, integrated into the dashboard.
Electric, petrol and diesel
The driver can take advantage of a head-up display and a wide range of engines. The electric model ë-C4 develops 136 hp for 350 km of autonomy. In fast charge, 80% can be recovered in 30 minutes; with wall box, it will take between 5 and 7:30; finally via domestic socket, a charge will require between 15 and more than 24 hours.
On the petrol side, the 1.2 PureTech is available in 3 power levels: 100 hp (manual transmission), 130 hp (manual transmission or automatic transmission) and 155 hp (automatic transmission). Finally, diesel does not disappear: the 1.5 BlueHDi will exist at 110 hp (manual transmission) and 130 hp (automatic transmission).
The marketing of Citroën C4 and ë-C4 will start in September.
