According to a survey of consumption trends conducted by the Cabinet Office, the index showing consumer sentiment, which has dropped significantly due to the spread of infections, was 28.4 last month, 4.4 points higher than the previous month, for the second consecutive month of increase. The Cabinet Office revised the consumer sentiment basic judgment upward, and changed it to the phrase "although it is still tough, there are signs of picking up recently."
