Corona 19 A tripartite agreement to overcome the economic crisis was scheduled until today's (1st) agreement ceremony, but was unsuccessful at the threshold. This is because the KCTU has notified of last-minute absence from the internal backlash that the agreement was inadequate, such as the stable employment of irregular workers.

Today, (1st) at 10:30 am, the ceremony of signing the tripartite representative, which was scheduled to be held at the Prime Minister's Office in Samcheong-dong, Seoul, was canceled 15 minutes before the event.

Chairman of the Democratic Union of Trade, Kim Myung-hwan, expressed his willingness to participate in the tripartite agreement by walking through his own actions, but in the end, he failed to overcome a strong internal backlash against the agreement.

Some union members called for the rescinding of the agreement because of poor employment retention measures for irregular workers, and even blocked the access of Chairman Kim Myung-hwan.

This ceremony was attracted by the efforts of the tripartite compromise to participate in the Democratic Trade Union 22 years after the financial crisis to overcome the employment crisis under the Corona 19.

Through the meeting on the 29th of last month, an agreement was prepared.

In the original agreement, the labor industry cooperated in efforts to shorten working hours and maintain employment, and the business community agreed to try as much as possible to maintain employment without firing.

Also, the government said that the government would support the labor-management agreement as much as possible by expanding the employment maintenance subsidy and expanding special employment support industries.

The tripartite government also promised to create a blueprint for the introduction of national employment insurance by the end of this year.

As the agreement made by the representatives was stranded and the internal conflict of the KCTU was deepened, it seems unlikely that it will be possible to reach the agreement again.
