Convenience stores will start selling masks for blocking droplets from the 1st of next month.

CU announced today (30th) that it will sell splash masks at 14,000 stores nationwide from the 1st of next month.

The sale mask is a domestic mask that uses a triple structure MB filter and is certified by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety.

It is sold in 5 pieces per set and the price per sheet is 600 won.

There is no limit on purchase per person as a convenience store seller.

CU plans to order an average of 3 times a week to sell about 500,000 masks per week.

Seven-Eleven also sells an average of 50,000 splash-masking masks a day at all stores starting on the 1st of the following month.

Seven-Eleven masks are also official quasi-drugs approved by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety and are sold for 600 won per 5 pieces.

There is also no purchase limit per person.

According to Seven-Eleven, the mask set is in the form of a zipper bag, so it is easy to store the remaining quantity and can be used hygienically.

Seven-Eleven plans to introduce another mask for preventing droplets and 2 small types from other manufacturers on the 3rd of next month.

From the same day, E-Mart 24 sequentially releases a mask to prevent splashing in stores nationwide.

E-Mart 24 plans to release 1 million sheets made by the two manufacturers in the first week of next month, so it has the largest volume.

Masks are sold in 5 pieces and 2 pieces depending on the manufacturer. The price per sheet is 600 won and 975 won, respectively.

GS25, which started the sale of masks for splash-blocking for the first time in the convenience store industry on the 25th, will expand sales to 15,000 stores in GS Retail, including GS25, GS The Fresh, and Lalabla.

The sales volume is more than 1 million pieces per week, and the price per sheet is 500 to 900 won.

Convenience stores have also increased their sales of disposable masks in the summer.

E-Mart 24 will hold one plus one event for two types of triple filter disposable masks for the following month.

2 million copies are supplied each week and can be purchased for 300 won each.
