Skoda Octavia G-Tec - DR
CO2 emissions at least 25% lower (and even more with biogas), almost non-existent fine particles, less nitrogen oxides (NOx): more virtuous than petrol and diesel, gas natural compressed is a real alternative, at least for those who have a gas station distributing CNG near their home.
With the new Skoda Octavia G-Tec, up to 500 km (WLTP) can be traveled thanks to the gas tanks. Once these are empty, an additional tank containing 9 liters of petrol ensures an additional 190 km (WLTP).
A little less trunk
The downside: the volume of the trunk is somewhat reduced, exactly 145 liters. There remain 455 liters instead of 600 in the sedan, 495 liters instead of 640 in the station wagon. The engine used is the 4-cylinder 1.5 TSI, which develops 130 hp here.
The marketing of the Skoda Octavia and Octavia Combi G-Tec (CNG) will start this fall.
