This year, the population of Seoul, Incheon, Gyeonggi and the metropolitan area is expected to be larger than the population of other regions combined. This is the first time in Korean history. The number of people who have moved to the metropolitan area has increased significantly in the past three years, and because of that, there have been overwhelming numbers of people who have moved because of their jobs. However, there were many people who escaped from Gyeonggi-do around Seoul in the metropolitan area. This is mostly because of the house price. Eventually, it means that the number of people looking for a job to go to Seoul and moving back to Gyeonggi-do due to expensive house prices is increasing. So the government continues to come up with real estate measures to settle the price of the house, and there is a backlash over the measures that came out on the 17th.

Reporter Jeong Seong-jin covered the reason.

Those who plan to move into this apartment in Siheung, Gyeonggi-do, who will move in from August 1st, are not the only ones concerned.

When I moved in, I expected to receive a mortgage loan of up to 70% of the market price, and planned the funding, but the loan limit was reduced to 50% of the market price as it became an area to be adjusted by the June 17 measures.

[Kim Doo-chan/Siheung OO Apartment Planner: I think that there is no way to prepare 100 million more in one month because there is an additional 100 million to prepare for the balance.] The

government has consistently applied the standards since the past real estate measures . , But it is difficult to understand the contractors who have fallen on fire.

Recently, there have been a lot of new sales, but even in the Incheon area, which is largely regulated, it is showing collective action.

In Seo-gu, Incheon, where Geomdan New City is located, I even went to the local parliament and asked the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport to adjust the loan limit.

The city of Anseong, Yangju, and Uijeongbu sent virtual protests to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport saying that the inclusion of regulated areas was unfair.

In Anseong alone, the rate of increase in house prices in the last three months is lower than that of Gimpo, which is out of regulation, and the amount of unsold housing is considerable, but it is impossible to understand why it was included.

[Anseong City Hall officials: Anseong is not an area where there is a possibility of overheating, but it is unreasonable to group all of them together in a regulated area.] 6/17

Countermeasures Part of Kimpo and Paju, whose recent house prices have shook due to the balloon effect. Citizens also filed a petition against the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's policy that it could be bound to a regulated area next month.

In spite of repeated measures, anxiety and loss of house prices, which are not caught, are intertwined with each other's interests and appear as a form of collective repulsion.

Civic groups have pointed out that tinkering is a fundamental problem.

[Lee Kang-Hoon/Executive Commissioner, Participatory Solidarity, People's Welfare Hope Headquarters: In the direction of real people through strict regulations, such as greatly strengthening the holding tax (for multi-homeowners) and reforming the publicly announced price system… .]

It seems necessary to re-examine whether the current real estate measures are correct.
