Predictive Security Alert | Dangerous turn - Coyote
With a community of 5 million members in Europe, Coyote takes a step closer to road safety with its technology called Predictive Safety. Developed in France using an algorithm that analyzes the system's data, the first application of this patented technology will alert drivers when approaching dangerous turns to encourage drivers to approach them safely.
The technology has been tested and approved by a sample of Coyote customers: 90% found the alert positive or very positive and 86% redoubled their attention or slowed down. Analysis of the community's driving data has enabled Coyote to describe turns as dangerous when these are not necessarily so officially. A specific speed profile has also been established. This free functionality is being deployed today, thanks to a software update on all NAV +, Coyote UP and on the iOS and Android application. It will then be integrated into the brand's other boxes.
