YouTube Premium, a video service operated by Google LLC, is a paid service that can store offline without advertisements.

Google LLC gives you a free trial for a certain period of time, and then converts it to a paid one, which is 8,690 won per month for Android.

However, Google LLC did not confirm the user's intention by only unilaterally notifying the subscription of the paid service by email.

Even if you apply for cancellation, the remaining charges are not refunded.

In January, the Korea Communications Commission judged this behavior of Google LLC to be in violation of the Telecommunications Business Act, and imposed a fine of 680 million won and ordered correction.

There were observations that the lawsuit would be dissatisfied, but GoogleLLC eventually raised the white flag and submitted a plan for corrective action to the National Defense Commission.

In the event that the user applies for cancellation, it is said that the fee will be refunded in proportion to the remaining period and will be notified by e-mail 3 days before the paid conversion.

[Cheon Ji-Hyeon/Director, User Protection Section, Korea Communications Commission: It is said that it has great significance in that it applies domestic laws and regulations to protect the same users as domestic operators.

Google LLC will announce the corrective order on the first screen of YouTube while planning to complete the corrective action by the end of August.
