The JR Tokai shareholders' meeting was held at a hotel in Nagoya and was attended by 198 shareholders.

Many shareholders were concerned about the delay in opening operations in 2027 due to difficulties in discussions with Shizuoka Prefecture, who are concerned about the impact on the environment, regarding the tunnel construction of the Linear Chuo Shinkansen.

In response, Mamoru Uno of JR Tokai said, "Since the process is urgent, we request Shizuoka Prefecture to start preparations as soon as possible, and we want to explain directly from the president and get the understanding of Governor Kawakatsu."
