The Guangdong Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology replied that HiSilicon is the first integrated circuit design company in China in terms of device materials. Peng Ding Holdings occupies 6.1% of the global PCB market and is the world’s largest PCB company, Huizhou Shuo. Bede is the country's largest manufacturer of mobile phone antennas. In terms of main equipment, Huawei and ZTE are the world's first and fourth telecommunications equipment vendors, respectively, and 5G communication equipment accounts for 1/3 of global supply. In terms of terminal manufacturing, Huawei and OPPO are in the top five shipments in the global smartphone market, and Huawei, OPPO and vivo account for more than 75% of China's smartphone market share.
According to reports, as of the end of March 2020, the total number of 5G base stations in Guangdong Province was 42,698. Guangdong will promote the large-scale commercialization of 5G, continue to increase the construction of 5G base stations, and promote the 5G construction investment of telecom operators and China Tower in Guangdong. At the end of the third quarter of this year, 48,000 5G base stations will be built in the province, and more than 60,000 5G will be built by the end of the year. The base station realizes continuous coverage of regional 5G networks above developed towns in the Pearl River Delta region and above county towns in eastern Guangdong, western Guangdong, and northern Guangdong.
