Tesla has just announced that its Model S Long Range Plus is the first electric car to have exceeded the symbolic bar of 400 miles (402 exactly) of autonomy, which represents 643 km in mixed use. A result validated by the EPA with which Elon Musk, boss of Tesla, was angry a few weeks ago, accusing him of having distorted the tests of the Model S.
Obviously, the hatchet seems to have been completely buried. In a press release, the American brand explains that it has improved the performance of the Model S by reducing its mass, using new wheels and improving its braking system. Tesla says that all Model S Long Range delivered from June 15 will benefit from this improved range.
