The Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism has issued an Order, published this Thursday in the Official State Gazette (BOE), to add between today, June 18, and next Saturday, June 20, ten more flights to the program Balearic pilot aiming to bring tourists from Germany to the islands.

These are flights from different German airports, including Frankfurt and Munich , all destined for Palma de Mallorca. Specifically, the arrival of three flights is expected for today , another three tomorrow and four next Saturday.

On June 15, the first German tourists began to arrive in the Balearic Islands as part of this pilot program. Until the end of June, the arrival of up to 10,900 tourists from Germany is expected, who will not have to go through quarantine .

The initial Order authorizing a safe tourist corridor from Germany to the Balearic Islands contemplated 47 flights from various German airports, bound for Palma de Mallorca, Ibiza and Mahón, scheduled between June 15 and 30, although it was specified that new air routes could be added.
