The Undersecretary of the Department of Economic Development in Abu Dhabi, Rashid Abdul Karim Al Balushi revealed that the examination of more than one million and 400,000 workers in the Musaffah area in Abu Dhabi constituting all the employment there has been completed during the last period.
Al-Balooshi said that there are separate clinics in Abu Dhabi, Al-Ain and Al-Dhafra that participated in labor inspections, pointing to huge efforts made by the Ministry of Health and the Health Authority in Abu Dhabi in the examinations, which resulted in positive results in controlling the Covid-19 virus.
Al-Balooshi revealed that the examination of more than 50% of restaurant workers in Abu Dhabi has been completed in preparation for its opening during the coming period, noting that examining restaurant workers and proving that they are free of the virus is the main condition for opening restaurants and receiving the public.
Al-Balooshi indicated that 50,000 workers from commercial centers workers in Abu Dhabi were examined within only 7 days, and about 50 thousand hotel workers were examined within a short period as well.
