  As of the close, the Dow fell 170.37 points to 26119.61 points, a decrease of 0.65%; the Nasdaq rose 14.66 points to 9910.53 points, an increase of 0.15%; the S&P 500 index fell 11.25 points to 3113.49 points, a decrease of 0.36%.

  In terms of large US technology stocks, Apple fell 0.14%, Amazon rose 0.98%, Netflix rose 2.67%, Google rose 0.42%, Facebook fell 0.05%, and Microsoft rose 0.35%.

  Popular U.S. financial stocks fell, JP Morgan Chase fell 2.55%, Goldman Sachs fell 1.63%, Citi fell 2.68%, Morgan Stanley fell 1.69%, Bank of America fell 3.14%, Wells Fargo fell 3.72%, Berkshire Hathaway fell 0.62%.

  In terms of popular Chinese stocks, Alibaba rose 0.71%, JD.com rose 1.69%, and Baidu fell 0.61%; Advantage Interactive rose 69.75%, Sintech rose 27.83%, Youdao rose 14.24%, Huanhuan rose 14.15%, and Pinduo rose 6.15 Acorn International fell 15.03%, Thunder fell 8.82%, 36 Krypton fell 7.92%, Ruixing Coffee fell 3.96%, Weilai Automobile fell 2.22%, and NetEase fell 1.28%.

  In terms of data, the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) reported that the US crude oil inventories recorded an increase of 1.215 million barrels to 539.3 million barrels during the week to June 12. The previous value increased by 5.72 million barrels, and the market expects to decrease by 152,000 barrels.

  In terms of individual stocks, Pinduoduo rose more than 6%, and the stock price hit a new high.

  The three major European stock indexes rose across the board on the 17th.
