Flydubai has confirmed its continued efforts to prepare for a return to service.

The company stated in a statement yesterday that during the past few months, it adopted a new concept for passenger flights, following the best practices from the International Air Transport Association (IATA), the World Health Organization and the General Authority for Civil Aviation, according to its current high standards, and indicated that these efforts include A wide program for sterilization, through all contact points, for the duration of the traveler’s journey.

Comprehensive program

"Flydubai" pointed out that while preparing to return to the atmosphere, it is safe to be clean on board, as the company adopts a comprehensive program to clean and sterilize its aircraft, every day, with cleaning products approved by the manufacturer.

She stressed that the air in the cabin is exchanged every two to three minutes, to be sterilized when it enters the cabin, after passing through high-efficiency particulate air filters (HEPA), which remove more than 99.9% of any particles that may be present.

"Flydubai" stressed that its team of qualified and highly experienced engineers work around the clock to perform aircraft maintenance tasks, according to a set schedule to ensure that the aircraft are maintained according to the highest levels of airworthiness.

Safe way

Ghaith Al Ghaith, CEO of flydubai, said that the steps taken across the Emirates will allow the carrier to return to service in a safe and standard manner.

He added, "Dubai has always been a global hub for aviation in accordance with the highest international standards, and the joint efforts of various industry players, over the past few months, will allow passengers to travel again in a safe environment."
