Against the euro, 1 euro = 120.71 yen to 75 yen, which is 64 yen stronger than last weekend and the euro has weakened.
The euro was 45 dollars per euro = 1.1244 to the dollar.
A market official said, “This afternoon in Japan time, the futures price of the US Dow average stock price fell sharply, and there was a movement to sell the dollar and buy the yen in the foreign exchange market. There has been a move to buy back the price, and price movements have remained modest.”
