Emirates Flight EK 839 arrived at Bahrain International Airport this afternoon, marking the first flight carrying passengers to the Kingdom of Bahrain in about three months.

Emirates Airlines said it will operate 7 flights per week between Dubai and Manama with Boeing 777-300ER aircraft that will carry cargo and passengers returning to their countries or to serve their vital interests.

The company indicated in a press statement that customers can also continue to travel efficiently and safely through Dubai to the various stations within the Emirates Airlines network, which currently covers some international cities in the Asia Pacific region, Europe and the Americas.

Restrictions on travel remain in effect in most countries, and Emirates reminds its customers that they must check entry and exit requirements to their destinations before joining their flights.

The company stated that customers can book flights to and from Bahrain via the website or through travel agents.

Emirates Airlines applies a series of comprehensive precautions and measures at every stage of the journey, whether on the ground or in the air, to ensure the safety of its customers and employees. These measures include the distribution of a free safety bag to passengers, including masks, gloves, hand sanitizers and antibacterial wipes
